Dr. Wright graduated from Colorado State University in 1995.  She completed her residence in Anesthesia and Critical Patient Care at the University of California, Davis and became board certified in the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA) in 2001.  After being on faculty at two universities for eight years, Dr. Wright moved back out into private practice and teaching.  She has pursued advance training in acupuncture, physical rehabilitation and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Past-President of the International Veterinary Academy of  Pain Medicine, Dr. Wright teaches extensively on pain medicine, acupuncture, and anesthesia.  She works for the Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency and Rehabilitation Hospital as an anesthesiologist and emergency doctor, and Colorado Canine Orthopedics as a pain specialist.
