$1411
A 3-Day In-Person Course for Small Animal Practitioners
This 3-day immersive clinical program teaches you to master small animal dry needling and photomedicine. Blending scientific foundations with practical application, you will learn to evaluate and treat pain and mobility challenges using evidence-supported techniques like myofascial palpation, movement analysis, and neurologic assessment. The course includes:
- Hands-On Clinical Practice: Supervised sessions help you build technical proficiency and diagnostic accuracy.
- Evidence-Supported Modalities: Learn safe, drug-free interventions for patients needing alternatives to surgery.
- Multimodal Assessment: Broaden your expertise in patient evaluation through movement analysis and myofascial palpation.
Learning Objectives:
- Explain the science, indications, clinical reasoning, and expected outcomes associated with dry needling.
- Perform dry needling at acupuncture points commonly included in musculoskeletal and neurologic treatment protocols.
- Describe the mechanisms of photobiomodulation and become familiar with typical photomedicine parameters for painful patients.
- Strengthen diagnostic skills for patients with chronic pain and mobility impairment.
- Define “neural mobilization” and how it can help patients wtih peripheral nerve injury.
- Develop anatomically specific treatment protocols for patients with problems involving the neck, back, shoulder girdle, hip, and stifle.
