Dr. Joey Sneva, DVM, cVMA graduated from Colorado State University’s Professional Veterinary Medical Program in 2002.  She has been practicing small animal general medicine in northern Colorado since graduation.  She became certified in veterinary medical acupuncture in 2017 and has been amazed at what this complimentary modality can offer veterinary patients of all kinds.  She has treated dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigs and snakes!  Her areas of particular interest involving acupuncture include the treatment and management of acute and chronic pain as well as orthopedic and neurologic disease conditions.  Dr. Sneva is currently working on becoming certified in canine rehabilitation as well.  

In her spare time, Dr. Sneva enjoys caring for all the animals on the small farm she shares with her boyfriend in Wellington, Colorado.  Additionally, she enjoys dressage riding, pilates, bird watching and travel.
