This course teaches you pharmacologic aspects of botanical medicine and how to translate that into meaningful conversation with clients.  You’ll learn the mechanisms of action of different classes of herbs along with their indications, contraindications, and herb-drug interactions. Upon completion, you should be able to confidently discuss the pros and cons of various herbal options with clients from a rational perspective. Our goal is to give you an honest portrayal of the state of the field and to prompt serious consideration about the value and drawbacks of plant-based medicine.
